The Pastoral Care Team in Assumption Secondary School is made up of the following members - the Chaplain, Principal, Deputy Principal, Guidance Counsellor, Year Heads and Class Tutors.  Whilst each member of the teaching staff has a duty of care to their students, the Pastoral Care team brings all of the school support services together.

The School Chaplain's role is that of a faith presence in the school.  The Chaplain works closely with staff, students and the local parish community to develop and nurture a faith community within the school.  The Chaplain is available to offer pastoral support to all members of the school community and to assist both staff members and students on their personal faith journey.
